The awesome foursome

We’ve found a third AND fourth team mate!

Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think we’d gain a third let alone fourth team mate. Alas, team That’s Not A Car! is now a FULL team! (And that means we’re now is serious doo-doo when it comes to luggage space in our tiny car).

James and Natalie have signed up for the most ridiculous adventure of a lifetime; The Mongol Rally. Pat and I had been working on James from January onwards, we finally convinced him this is the trip he’ll always wish he’d come on. Secretly Pat and I were cheering as James is a whizz with cars and will be worth his weight in gold once we’ve blasted the engine in the middle of the desert. Natalie joined on an absolute whim after having a chat with me at the RSPCA Million Paws Walk. She went into full planning mode from that day onwards, having to catch up on everything we’d been discussing and putting together. Little did she know we’d literally only discussed things and hadn’t even applied for our visas yet. And so with 7 weeks to go until the rally we put the peddle to the meddle and finally started to act on our planning items, more so to save face and show Natalie that we hadn’t been twiddling our thumbs these past four months.
